I Gemona del Friuli International Classical Guitar

The associations “Un Blanc e un neri” and “La Casa Rotonda”, in collaboration with the municipality of Gemona del Friuli and the sponsorship of the FVG Region, announce “The First Gemona del Friuli International Guitar Competition”, which will be held in Gemona del Friuli from 11th to 15th March 2020. 
The competition sessions shall start on 12th March at 10am.  

ELIMINATION PHASE (12-13 march) – SALA CONSILIARE PALAZZO BOTON – 10.00 am
SEMI-FINAL PHASE (14 march) –  SALA CONSILIARE PALAZZO BOTON 4.00 pm
FASE FINALE (15 marzo) – Biblioteca Santuario di San Antonio – 4.00 pm

REGISTRATION

Registration shall take place via the registration form on the website.                                                  

The registration form and documentation can also be sent by e-mail to: festivalchitarragemona@gmail.com

The registration period shall end on 1st March 2020. There will be a maximum number of 30 competitors. When this number is reached, the registration period will be closed and no new registrations will be admitted.

The registration fees shall be €40, which must be paid by bank transfer to the current account held by La Casa Rotonda APS: (CiviBank)

All finalists will receive a publication from the “Sociedad de la vihuela, el laúd y la guitarra”

First prize:

€3,500 and Diploma

Concert guitar awarded by Guitar Salon Vadya (Slovenia).

Concert in the next edition of the festival.

Ipogeo Records will offer the recording, mixing and mastering in the Dragonfly Studio, in Alba (Cn); the graphic design and the digital publication of the entire album with the subsequent inclusion in the catalogue.

The physical printing of the album will be made according to an agreement between the artist and the producer.

In addition, a presentation concert will be offered after the release of the album.

Second prize:

€1500 and Diploma

Best Friulian guitarist (guitarists residing in the region):

€500 and Diploma

**All other finalists will receive a diploma as well.**
